The California Agricultural Trade Roundtable might best be termed a "trade summit" of California's agricultural leaders, with the goal of shaping a "trade platform" for California agriculture.  It is not a seminar, but rather a venue for group discussion and consensus on a "unified voice" on trade issues that affect California agriculture.  In addition to industry participants, Secretary AG Kawamura and other representatives from CDFA will participate, as well as officials from USDA-FAS and APHIS. 
The Ag Trade Roundtable is an "intimate" group, the participants representing a broad "swath" of California's agricultural production - particularly from those industries which are "trade dependent" (both from the export and the import side).
